Win 2 Free Nights — Competition Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to the "Win 2 Free Nights" free prize draw run by Cotswold Country Retreats. By entering, you accept these terms in full.
1. The promoter
The promoter is Cotswold Country Retreats, Oakleaze, Cirencester Road, South Cerney, GL7 6HT ("we", "us", "our"). Questions about the competition can be sent to enquiry@cotswoldcountryretreats.co.uk.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except the promoters, their families, and anyone professionally connected with the competition. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
3. How to enter
To enter, during the entry period you must, on our competition post on Facebook or Instagram: (1) follow our page; (2) like the post; and (3) tag two friends in the comments. One entry per person. Posting more than one comment does not increase your chances of winning. We are not responsible for entries that are incomplete, lost, or not received.
4. Entry period
Entries open at 09:00 on Sunday 12 July 2026 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 9 August 2026. Any entries received after the closing time will not be counted.
5. The prize
The prize is a stay of two (2) consecutive nights for two (2) people in one hut at Cotswold Country Retreats, including one dog if required. The prize covers accommodation only. Travel, food, drink, and any other extras are not included. There is one prize. There is no cash alternative, and the prize is non-transferable and may not be resold.
6. Booking, dates and exclusions
The prize stay is subject to availability and must be booked in advance by arrangement with us. The following dates are excluded and cannot be used for the prize stay:
all UK bank holiday weekends; and
the Christmas and New Year period (20 December to 2 January inclusive).
The prize must be booked and taken within 12 months of the winner being notified, after which it expires and no alternative will be offered.
7. Winner selection
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries on Monday 10 August 2026.
8. Notifying the winner
The winner will be contacted via Facebook or Instagram (by comment and/or direct message) within three (3) days of the draw, and announced on our page. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days of being notified, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and draw a replacement winner.
9. Data protection
Any personal details you provide will be used only to run this competition and administer the prize, and will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy. We will not share your details with third parties for marketing purposes.
10. Facebook and Instagram
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta, Facebook or Instagram. By entering, you confirm that you release Meta from any responsibility and acknowledge that you are providing your information to Cotswold Country Retreats and not to Meta.
11. General
We reserve the right to amend these terms, or to cancel or withdraw the competition, at any time for reasons beyond our reasonable control. Our decision on all matters relating to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry into the competition confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions. This competition and these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
